The Kindarena Sports Centre, less than 1 hour from Paris, was opened in September 2012. It is a modern facility suitable for high-level athletes across a range of disciplines. The centre has hosted various official competitions, including international tournaments in handball (Golden League, 2017 World Championship), tennis (Davis Cup matches), volleyball (World League) and basketball, plus French championships in gymnastics, judo, table tennis, badminton and other sports. With outstanding hosting and training facilities plus various additional spaces (meeting room, team leader’s office, storage facility, etc.), it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
The Zénith de Caen, which opened on 19 June 1993, is a large-capacity auditorium. With its modular layout, it can accommodate upwards of 900 seated spectators and is approved for audiences (standing and seating) of up to 6,990. In the 25 years since it opened, the Zénith has played host to more than 2,000 shows and events, attended by almost 5.4 million spectators. The auditorium is a modern facility designed chiefly for performing arts shows, but it is also accredited to host major sporting events. The offices, dressing rooms and other spaces can be turned into press rooms or physiotherapy rooms, or converted for other purposes as required.
The table tennis room, built in 2015, adjoins the municipal gymnasium in the Saint-Ghislain Sports Centre (which features a boxing studio, a gym/weightlifting room, 2 gymnasiums, a football pitch, a table tennis room, etc.). The complex is situated close to the Pays St-Lois aquatic centre (which has a gym) and the urban park (with compact golf course), and is just a short distance from the town centre (amenities nearby). It is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
The Didier Bianco Sports Centre, which opened in 2006, is located 40 km from Caen. It is a well-respected facility popular with athletes from around the region. It can host national-level competitions, such as the Under-18 Boys’ French Handball Championships, which took place at the complex in 2014. The town of Falaise has a strong sporting pedigree, with various high-quality facilities for the 3,600-strong community of sports club members.

The shooting range is located in Parc Signa, 15 minutes from the centre of Rouen and right by the A150 motorway. Parc Signa is a haven of greenery surrounded by forest, with various outdoor sports and leisure facilities that delegations can use to practise shooting in peaceful, natural surroundings. It is the ideal place for outdoor physical preparation.
