The Didier Bianco Sports Centre, which opened in 2006, is located 40 km from Caen. It is a well-respected facility popular with athletes from around the region. It can host national-level competitions, such as the Under-18 Boys’ French Handball Championships, which took place at the complex in 2014. The 35-hectare equestrian centre is situated in the centre of Saint Lô (Manche/Normandy). The facilities include the former Haras National (built by Napoleon I in the late 19th century), plus an indoor hall (capacity: 3,000), 8 arenas, 4 riding rings and 471 stables. The centre plays host to events for 160 days each year, including innovative events and activities to support the equestrian sector and professionals, and riding competitions. In addition to centre management activities, the centre branches out into other activities to promote its historic heritage.
The Henry Jeanne Sports Park is in an incredibly scenic location near the botanic gardens. Renovated in 2006, the stadium offers an excellent practice area and seating capacity for 3,444 spectators. Its location, close to a wide range of other facilities (hotels, restaurants, pool, etc.), makes it the ideal place for preparatory training. With the area’s cultural and historic heritage and its proximity to the coast, there are plenty of options for rest and recovery.
The Michel Pelchat Centre, located 2 hours from Paris (by car or train), is open to all users. With its outstanding indoor equipment, special flooring and high-level tables, it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition. The local club that uses the centre plays to a professional standard and regularly hosts national players and delegations looking to prepare for major international championships.
The Maxime Merlin Tennis Complex, located 3 hours from Paris, is a comprehensive facility with 5 indoor Terbal courts and 6 outdoor hard courts. The complex also has an indoor padel court. The club house boasts a modular layout, and can be reconfigured to create open-plan or enclosed spaces. The tennis complex stands in 7,000 hectares of forest, with plenty of space to install other equipment or facilities as required.

The Louis Villemer stadium is a comprehensive and easily accessible facility (disabled access on the ground floor with lifts to other floors). Its various complementary facilities (club house/VIP area/kitchen/briefing room/office/infirmary) and its proximity to the aquatic centre (with a gym) and a compact golf course make it an ideal base for Olympic and Paralympic preparation. This facility has previously hosted U19 UEFA matches and charity matches and has welcomed professional teams for their preparatory training.
The table tennis room, built in 2015, adjoins the municipal gymnasium in the Saint-Ghislain Sports Centre (which features a boxing studio, a gym/weightlifting room, 2 gymnasiums, a football pitch, a table tennis room, etc.). The complex is situated close to the Pays St-Lois aquatic centre (which has a gym) and the urban park (with compact golf course), and is just a short distance from the town centre (amenities nearby). It is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
