Alençon
The Rabelais Gymnasium is situated in the Paul Vauquelin Multisports Complex, 15 minutes from Rouen city centre and right by the A150 motorway. The gymnasium has among the largest seating capacity in the Rouen urban area (600-seat fixed grandstands and up to 1,000 with mobile grandstands). It also boasts a wide variety of high-quality additional facilities (gym, club house, dojo, athletics track and gymnastics room). There are a further two gymnasiums adjoining the Rabelais Gymnasium, each with facilities measuring 40 m x 20 m. The complex is therefore ideal for preparing for competition in specific disciplines, as well as for more general preparation, with outstanding facilities and services.
The Julien Lebas Sports Centre was extended and fully renovated in 2014. It is situated close to the Pays St-Lois aquatic centre (which has a gym) and the urban park (with compact golf course), and is just a short distance from the town centre (amenities nearby). It is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
Normandy Sports Centre is a unique training facility just 1 km from the coast. The centre stands among 12 hectares of stunning grounds and boasts a range of sports and hosting facilities (1 dojo, 3 gyms, 3 outdoor pitches including one artificial pitch, athletics track, accommodation, restaurant, adjoining rooms, etc.), meaning it can host several sports delegations.
The Salle des Docks Océane, which opened in 2000, is 2 hours from Paris. It is a versatile, modern facility open to all users. With various additional spaces (meeting room, team leader’s office, storage facility, VIP area, etc.), it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
The Amable Lozai Stadium, opened in 2012, is a modern facility open to all users, located 1 hour 30 minutes from Paris. Its main pitch spans some 8,400 m². It also has: 2 artificial pitches, a covered seating area, a 406 m² covered stand for standing spectators, a locker room, a meeting room, a 37 m² gym, offices and a 45 m² building with showers and toilets.

The Cité des Sports sports complex, which opened in 2008, is less than 3 hours 30 minutes from Paris. It is a modern facility open to all users. With various rooms (3 gymnasiums, 1 gym, a boxing studio, a dojo and a dance studio) plus additional spaces (meeting room, team leader’s office, storage facility, etc.), it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition. The complex is 300 metres from the coast and less than a 15-minute walk from Granville town centre. The recently opened aquatic centre is also located at the Cité des Sports.
