The Saint-Lo baseball field, situated at the Les Ronchettes Sports Centre, is one of the best in France. Athletes can make use of the many facilities at the nearby football training centre (dressing rooms, club house, gym, etc.). There is also an aquatic centre (with a gym) and a compact golf course nearby, making it the ideal base for Olympic preparations.
The Julien Lebas Sports Centre was extended and fully renovated in 2014. It is situated close to the Pays St-Lois aquatic centre (which has a gym) and the urban park (with compact golf course), and is just a short distance from the town centre (amenities nearby). It is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
Located in the heart of Bocage Normand, the Closets Stadium is a rugby resort. The site is equipped with a sports area with its changing rooms and grounds, but also a space of conviviality, offices and a meeting room. Less than 100m away, the presence of a fitness room and an aquatic centre with a balneo area (SPA, Hammam and sauna) and a treatment and wellness area make the Closets Stadium an ideal centre for Olympic and Paralympic preparation.
Sartilly-Baie-Bocage enjoys a prime sport in the heart of Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, half-way between Avranches and Granville, and on the border between Normandy and Brittany. The town is easy to reach from Granville train station and the nearby A84 motorway. It is also a quiet, peaceful location for athletes to train. The modern, spacious sports complex, which opened in September 2017, stands in the centre of the town and is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition.
The Cité des Sports sports complex, which opened in 2008, is less than 3 hours 30 minutes from Paris. It is a modern facility open to all users. With various rooms (3 gymnasiums, 1 gym, a boxing studio, a dojo and a dance studio) plus additional spaces (meeting room, team leader’s office, storage facility, etc.), it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition. The complex is 300 metres from the coast and less than a 15-minute walk from Granville town centre. The recently opened aquatic centre is also located at the Cité des Sports.

Granville
The Regional Climbing Centre in Montmartin-sur-Mer is 10 km from Coutances and 20 km from Granville. It can be reached from Paris in 3 hours 30 minutes. The centre was built in 1997 and has undergone a regular programme of expansion and improvement works, tracking developments in sport climbing. The rope climbing wall, renovated in 2013, is an outstanding, modern facility that meets current discipline standards.

Montmartin sur Mer
The La Charrière Sports Complex is a modern facility open to all users. It is situated around 10 km from Cherbourg’s airport, ports and train station. With various sporting facilities and adjoining spaces, it is the ideal place for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to prepare for competition. The sports complex has a perimeter fence, and security guards can easily be stationed at the access points.
